Taylor Quick Gives ‘This Is What You Came For’ Its Times Visit Introduction: ‘Somewhat Surprising’

Taylor Quick could have been downplaying things when she called one of her unexpected melodies for night 2 in Liverpool, Britain, “somewhat startling.”

Making its Times Visit debut on Friday night (June 14), Quick played out “This Is The very thing You Came For” — the Board Hot 100 top five hit delivered by Calvin Harris and Rihanna in 2016, which Harris co-composed with his then-sweetheart Quick — in a blend with Evermore’s “dash for unheard of wealth” for the first of two shock acoustic melodies.
