The band uncovered Emily Armstrong as their new co-entertainer, Colin Brittain as their new drummer, and “The Vacancy Machine” as their most recent single.
Linkin Park returned thundering on Thursday night (Sept. 5), with Bulletin’s elite computerized main story plunging into the super selling musical gang’s unexpected return. Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain have joined the band as co-singer and drummer/co-maker, individually; their new collection, From Nothing, will be delivered on Nov. 15; they’ll play six field shows across four landmasses, starting one week from now; and they have enormous visiting plans in 2025.
Furthermore, the band dismissed all that from in riveting style with a livestreamed execution from the Warner parcel in Los Angeles on Thursday night, playing a little for no-nonsense fans for barely 60 minutes. The set denoted the first Linkin Park execution in quite a while, following vocalist Chester Bennington’s grievous passing in 2017.
Following an introduction that included pieces of “Palace of Glass” and “The Memorial,” the band tore into “The Vacancy Machine,” which will be the lead single to From Nothing. Armstrong showed up in front of an audience halfway through the tune to convey her subsequent refrain, as an uncover for who might be joining Mike Shinoda as the band’s other lead singer.
Linkin Park then played out a blend of their greatest hits (“Eventually,” “Numb,” “Creeping”) and fan top picks (“Lying From You,” “Hanging tight for the End”). They likewise gave “Lost,” the re-found single from their Meteora twentieth commemoration set last year, its live introduction, with Armstrong driving a piano form of the main 40 hit.
